Mikael "Slicedlime" Hedberg is a game developer at Mojang Studios since February 1, 2017. On May 1, 2019, he announced he will be working on Minecraft: Java Edition. Earlier during his employment he had served as interim tech lead for the launcher team. He is currently the tech lead for the Java Edition game team. He is also a YouTuber and a Minecraft map maker.
Some of his YouTube videos are about changes and additions to Java Edition versions, including snapshots, pre-releases and releases, which appear on the respective version pages on the Minecraft Wiki. Note that these videos, along with the rest of his channel, are not official overviews. Slicedlime is a member of the "Legacy" survival multiplayer server. This is a whitelisted server with other members also being Minecraft content creators.
