Grass Block.svg
This page contains content on features that may be included in the next update.
These features have appeared in development versions, but the full update containing these features has not been released yet.
The actual title of this block is called "Wood".
However, due to the fact that there is another block that is already named "Wood" in the current version of Minecraft, this page shouldn't be renamed to that title until 1.13 is released, where "Wood" will be renamed to "Log".

Wood is a block that has the log's bark texture on six sides. It comes in 6 species: oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, and dark oak.

Stripped wood is a variant obtained by right-clicking wood with any axe.

Obtaining[edit]

Wood can be broken by hand, but using an axe will speed up the process.
