This is a list of Java Edition 1.14.3 development versions.

1.14.3 Pre-Release 1

1.14.3 Pre-Release 1 (known as 1.14.3-pre1 in the launcher) is the first pre-release for Java Edition 1.14.3, released on June 3, 2019,[1] which makes small changes to villagers and fixes some bugs left over from 1.14.2.

1.14.3 Pre-Release 2

1.14.3 Pre-Release 2 (known as 1.14.3-pre2 in the launcher) is the second pre-release for Java Edition 1.14.3, released on June 7, 2019,[2] which makes changes to patrols and villager panic behavior, and fixes bugs.

Changes

Mobs

Villagers
  • Panicked villagers now have to work and sleep so they cannot be in a state of panic all the time.
  • The "last slept" and "last worked" properties for villagers are now saved properly.

Gameplay

Advancements
  • Saturation is no longer required for the "How Did We Get Here?" advancement.
Enchantments
Illager patrols
  • Vindicators are no longer part of patrols.
  • Doubled the minimum time to spawn from 5 minutes to 10–11 minutes.
  • Patrols now follow hostile mob spawning rules.
    • Patrols no longer spawn if the block light level disallows monster spawning.
    • Patrols are now allowed to spawn in any biome except mushroom biomes.

  • MC-148986 – Low-tier enchants from level 30 standard enchanting setups.
  • MC-149207 – Water with blocks above will convert to flowing water for no reason.
  • MC-149877 – Baby foxes suffocate when jumping under blocks.
  • MC-150401 – Chickens suffocate if jumping while under a solid block.
  • MC-150954 – Pillager patrol spawning is off: they spawn too close to each other, in odd biomes, and too frequently.

  • MC-151566 – Pillagers patrols can spawn outside world border.
  • MC-151989 – Players in survival do not get the dolphin's grace effect if the dolphin cannot path to the player.
  • MC-152638 – Villager trade GUI does not close when a major change happens to the villager, leading to free trades and quick stock refreshing.

  • MC-152182 – Trading halls are non-viable: employed villagers sometimes un-bond from an existing workbench within 2 blocks, apprentice ranks and above cannot re-bond unless moved 96 blocks away and back.
  • MC-153221 – Dragon fireball causes FPS to crash.
From the previous development version
  • MC-153714 – Old graphics card warning on Mac despite having recent hardware.
  • MC-153730/reload does not work if there are too many new data packs.
  • MC-153734 – Vanilla data pack disabled after upgrading a world to 1.14.3 (items do not drop, fishing does not work, no advancements, etc).

1.14.3 Pre-Release 3

1.14.3 Pre-Release 3 (known as 1.14.3-pre3 in the launcher) is the third pre-release for Java Edition 1.14.3, released on June 14, 2019,[3] which adds a game rule to disable raids, changes some block placement rules, and fixes bugs.

Command format

Game rules
  • Added /gamerule disableRaids which disables raids when set to true.
    • When true, the Bad Omen will not be removed from a player when entering a village.
    • If set to true while a raid is in progress, the raid will stop, but the existing raid mobs will not despawn.

General

Languages
  • Added Bashkir (Башҡортса) language.
  • Added Gothic (Gutrazda) language.

  • MC-147619 – Foxes that trust a player will still avoid wolves and other players they are angry towards instead pursuing them.

  • MC-153470 – Language map does not close internal en_us.json file after reading.
  • MC-154000 – When dispenser places shulker box it decreases its stack twice.
  • MC-154080 – Wandering trader trading GUI does not close when it changes dimensions allowing infinite trades.
  • MC-154081 – Opening the survival inventory when opening a world crashes the game.
  • MC-154328 – The zombie siege never happens.

  • MC-154092 – Zombie pigmen lose aggression even when they are in range and have a line of sight.

  • MC-154239 – NPE server crash when painting entities spawned with mob spawn eggs are saved.

1.14.3 Pre-Release 4 (known as 1.14.3-pre4 in the launcher) is the fourth and final pre-release for Java Edition 1.14.3, released on June 19, 2019,[4] which fixes bugs.

  • MC-154082 – The world border is no longer solid.
From the previous development version
  • MC-154499 – Item frames in the world disappear and cause multiple error messages in the server console, and placing an item frame causes the client to crash.
  • MC-154506 – Zombie pigmen do not become aggressive to players even if the alarmed pigman has a clear line of sight.
  • MC-154602 – End cities being generated causes the game to crash.
