Infinite Lava Source
|Catches fire from lava||
Infinite lava sources were initally added to the player's inventory. At this point they were called "volcano blocks". Originally they where provided in a stack of 5, however they could be later found inside Indev House chests in a stack of 99 or 100.
When placed, an Infinite Lava Source block creates 4 blocks of Lava at its sides which then spread infinitely like fluids in Minecraft Classic. Breaking the source block stops the spread. Infinite Lava Source drops itself when broken.
Their data value corresponds to Oak Stairs in later versions of Minecraft.
