|“||Journey to the End and you’ll find a dimension of eternal, starless night - a gently fizzing purple void in which float sallow islands of… what exactly? ... I personally think of it as some porous, coral-like substance, naturally accruing from unseen spores that float in the haze of night.||„|

End stone is a block that appears in the End and, apart from generated structures, makes up all of the solid ground that exists in that dimension.
End stone can be obtained using any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, it will drop nothing.
|Breaking time[note 1]|
- Times are for unenchanted tools in seconds.
End stone is only found in the End, where it makes up all the floating islands that generate in the dimension.
The 16 end stone blocks under the edge of the exit portal are replaced when the dragon is respawned, and again when it is killed. As dragons are also renewable, this does make end stone renewable.[Java Edition only]
End stone has a blast resistance of 45, 1.5 times that of ordinary stone. It also cannot be picked up by endermen and cannot be destroyed by the ender dragon. In addition, it is the only block on which chorus flowers can be planted.
