800Craft is a custom server developed by Jonty800 and GlennMR. 800Craft is forked from fCraft, it is designed to maintain high performance without lag or crashing while having a wide selection of implemented commands and features.

History[edit]

800Craft started off as Au70 v800.X, which was a private mod of fCraft built specifically for Au70 Galaxy by Jonty800. The software was placed in Sourceforge as a backup, but somehow went viral and suddenly there was a demand for new features from hosts who had found the software and were using it full-time. In October 2011, a Halloween Mod was released and was recommended to Project-Vanilla host 'GlennMR'. Glenn contacted Jonty800 personally and persuaded him to make an Official Software with him. The software then changed name to '800Craft' (the name of the sourceforge) and branch 0.1x was released in late December.

800Craft Maths Commands[edit]

Have you ever wanted to print mathematical functions as Minecraft blocks in a 3D space?

Math commands are: /Func (/fu), /FuncS (/fus), /FuncF (/fuf) /Eq, /Ineq /FuncXY, /FuncXYS, etc.

The distinction between XY, XZ, and YZ is done in the expression: /fu z=x+y+sin(ln(sq(x-y))) u

This "z=" tells that z is the value axis and (x, y) - params. Obviously one can type x=tan(x+y) or y=cosh(x*z), setting other axis to be value. "u" as a scaling switch remains as before.

/Eq - equality. "/eq sq(x-0.5)+sq(y-0.5)+sq(z-0.5)=0.25 u" will draw a hollow sphere, for example (or ellipse if the selected cuboid is not a cube). "/eq sq(x-0.5)+sq(y-0.5)=0.25 u" is a cylinder.

/Ineq - inequality. "/ineq sq(x-0.5)+sq(y-0.5)+sq(z-0.5)>0.25 u" will draw a filled cube with a hollow sphere inside. "/ineq sq(x-0.5)+sq(y-0.5)+sq(z-0.5)<0.25 u" is obviously a filled sphere. Etc.

Another interesting feature is the usage of comparison and logical operators in the expressions: "/fus z=(x<y)*(x+y)+(x>y)*sin(ln(sq(x-y))) u" will draw the surface x+y where x<y holds. Otherwise sin(ln(sq(x-y))) is drawn (whatever it looks like).

800Craft Physics[edit]

Fireworks

  • You can place gold blocks to set off fireworks!

[.[TNT exploding physics]]

  • TNT Explodes if turned on, releasing particles of lava and obsidian. Its mainly used as a building tool, so don't blow yourself up! (/Immortal stops the deadly effects of TNT Physics.) You can also use /Gun and TNT if you want to kill another player

[.[Water Physics]]

  • Blocks like wool float if placed in water
  • Other blocks sink if placed water
  • Players die if under water for 30 seconds (Unless the player is /Immortal).

[.[Sand Physics]]

  • Sand and Gravel have gravity, and fall to the ground

[.[Plant Physics]]

  • Saplings turn into trees
  • Blocks placed on grass turn the grass to dirt
  • Mushrooms & flowers squash
  • Grass, Mushrooms & flowers die when not in sunlight
  • Grass regrows from dirt when in sunlight

[.[Gun Physics]]

  • Bullets fire when in /Gun mode
  • A choice between Normal Gun, Portal Gun or Grenade Launcher (TNT) is available.

800Craft MineManager[edit]

(Coming very soon) MineManager is a control panel which you can use to manage nearly every aspect of your server. It is under constant development so features are added on a regular basis.

Imagine yourself sitting at school and you receive a text message saying there's something wrong with your server. Obviously you want to fix this as soon as possible but you may not be able to access the server from school. That's where MineManager comes in handy, MineManager allows you to manage your server from 800Craft.net, and best of all, its 100% free!
