This feature is available only in Education Edition or when enabling the "Education Edition" option in Bedrock Edition.

Lets your agent detect a redstone signal in the specified direction.


detectredstone <direction: string>


direction: string

Specifies the direction of Agent to detect a redstone signal.
Must be one of:
  • forward to detect the block on the front.
  • back to detect the block on the back.
  • left to detect the block on the left-hand side.
  • right to detect the block on the right-hand side.
  • up to detect the block on the top-hand side.
  • down to detect the block on the bottom-hand side.


Fails if the arguments are not specified correctly.

On success, returns if the object in the specified direction received a redstone signal at that moment.
