Channeling is available from enchantment tables, raid drops,[Bedrock Edition only] books obtained by fishing, minecart chests, librarian villagers, and from chests found in Overworld non-village structures.
The mob must be exposed to the open sky in order for the enchantment to work. In Java Edition, the mob cannot be in water while being hit with this enchantment. This enchantment allows the player to change creepers, villagers, pigs, and red mooshrooms/brown mooshrooms into charged creepers, witches, zombified piglins, and brown mooshrooms/red mooshrooms, respectively.
Channeling and Riptide are mutually exclusive.
