This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in Bedrock Edition 1.9 release, which assumes at least some familiarity with the Bedrock Edition 1.8 release.

  • Barrels and Cartography Tables can be used to smelt 1.5 items in a furnace. The others have no functionality.
  • Available through Experimental Gameplay.

  • Fletching Tables can be used to smelt 1.5 items in a furnace.
  • Available through Experimental Gameplay.

Cornflowers appear in Plains biomes while Lily of the Valley spawn in Forests .

They can be broken with any tool as well as by hand, but they break instantly.
  • Cornflowers can be crafted into Blue Dye.
