This guide is a simplified overview of all the changes in the Bedrock Edition 1.10 release, which assumes at least some familiarity with the Bedrock Edition 1.9 release.

  • Lecterns generate naturally as part of libraries in villages.
Lecterns can be broken with any tool as well as by hand, with axes being the fastest tool to use.
  • Placing a book and quill or written book on the lectern allows multiple players to read it together.
  • A book and quill can be read, but not edited when placed on a lectern.

Stonecutter

Stonecutters can be mined with any pickaxe.

Sweet Berry Bushes

  • Sweet berry bushes can be found naturally in all taiga variants.
  • Sweet berry bushes can be planted with sweet berries.
Sweet berry bushes can be broken with any tool as well as by hand.
  • Sweet berry bushes drop sweet berries by using or when broken, dropping 1-2 berries at age three, and 2-3 berries at age four.
  • Sweet berry bushes slow players while standing in them at age one, as well as deal damage to players while moving at age two and above. Standing still while in sweet berry bushes will deal no damage.

  • The globe banner pattern cannot be crafted, and is only obtainable from master-level cartographer villagers.

  • Black dye is used in place of ink sacs as dye in all recipes.
Sweet Berries

Sweet berries can be harvested from sweet berry bushes. Additionally sweet berries can be found in taiga village house chests.
  • Sweet berries give 2 () hunger points when eaten.
  • Sweet berries can be used on grass blocks, dirt, podzol, coarse dirt, and farmland to plant a sweet berry bush sapling.
  • Used to breed foxes.

Spawn Egg
