This non-critical admin required action was responded to by ortho in a few hours, which is fine. Adding more admins so unimportant actions get performed a bit faster isn't necessary. Show me evidence of important things not being attended to and it will show actual reason to have more admins. –Majr ᐸ Talk

Log in link

There should be a link to logging in under the "create an account" link. I tried using the editcopy, but I didn't know the name of the special page. It has a very complicated URL, so I thought I'd propose it here. I also think that the icon should be a button (wooden or stone) because you are "opening" the door in "create an account".

There is already one that shows on the top bar (or in the side bar on mobile) when logged out, there is no reason to add an additional link that is only on the main page, as it will hardly get used. –KnightMiner ^t/_c 01:56, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

Not sure the exact reason behind that (may be listed in the edit summary of the revision that added it), but it might have to do with the fact that users can still create an account, while they cannot log in a second time. –KnightMiner ^t/_c 15:36, 19 March 2015 (UTC)

I have two accounts, my other one performs automated edits at my request. User can also create an account at another users request, in case their IP is blocked due to it being a shared IP. Anyways, while that link may not be used too often as well, it existing does not require adding the log in link as well. –KnightMiner ^t/_c 03:11, 20 March 2015 (UTC)
