Cooked Chicken is a food item made from roasting raw chicken in a furnace or by killing chickens with fire or a sword with the Fire Aspect enchantment. Cooked chicken heals 6 points (3 "shanks") of hunger and 7.2 units of food saturation, making it slightly a better food than bread or cooked fish.

Smelting

Ingredients Smelting recipe
Raw Chicken +
Any fuel

Effects

Eating the chicken raw only restores 1/3 as many hunger points (🍗) and has a 30% chance of giving the player food poisoning.

Farming

Since chickens are persistent as of Beta 1.8, it is easily possible to create chicken egg farms. Put eggs into dispensers to spawn chickens automatically, then let the chickens fall onto a burning netherrack block and let them run off that block. They will burn to death and drop cooked chicken. This method no longer works due to the Minecraft 1.0RC1 update which made baby chickens hatch from eggs instead of adults.

However, with further use of Cactus-Clock controlled Chambers, it is possible to mature these baby chickens into adults in a fully automated fashion.

The Ankle monitor was a joke foot item.

Usage
Ankle monitors were equipped in the boots slot. In survival mode, when equipped, it could not be taken off. However, players in Creative mode are unaffected.

When equipped, the player would be afflicted with Slowness I.

During the night, being a certain number of blocks from the world spawn, above a certain minimum,how much? would prompt the following message in chat: "CURFEW WARNING! You are violating your house arrest! Get back by [distance] meters!"

If in the Nether or the End, a different set of messages would be cycled through which can be seen in the section below.

Nether and End messages
* CURFEW WARNING! You are violating your house arrest! Uuuh... where are you anyway?
* CURFEW WARNING! Hello, are you there?
* CURFEW WARNING! I'm sure you have important things to do, but you need to go back!
* CURFEW WARNING! We're lonely back home!
* CURFEW WARNING! By "we" I mean I. I'm lonely.
* CURFEW WARNING! Ok enough games... GET BACK RIGHT NOW!
* CURFEW WARNING! LAST WARNING!
* CURFEW WARNING! LASTEST WARNING (really now)
* CURFEW WARNING! ...
* CURFEW WARNING! So... Where are you?
* CURFEW WARNING! Having a good day?
* CURFEW WARNING! Did you see that monster over there?
* CURFEW WARNING! Give it a whack, if you would be so kind.
* CURFEW WARNING! Teheee...
* CURFEW WARNING! Ok, enough of this!
* CURFEW WARNING! Last straw!
* CURFEW WARNING! Now you die.
* CURFEW WARNING! Boom!
* CURFEW WARNING! Hehe, fun right?
* CURFEW WARNING! Ok, you will not hear anything more from me now!
* CURFEW WARNING! You'll be as lonely as I am.
* CURFEW WARNING! How does that feel?
* CURFEW WARNING! Stop. Please. Stupid.

Chains are metallic decoration blocks.

Obtaining
Breaking
Chains can be mined using any pickaxe. If mined without a pickaxe, it drops nothing.

Natural generation
Chains generate in bastion remnants and sometimes in ruined portals that generate in the Nether. They always generate above magma cube spawners, also found in bastions.

Chains can also generate in mineshafts. They generate on the sides of a wooden bridge (a mid-air corridor) when the distance between the bridge and the highest solid block below it is higher than the distance to the lowest solid block above it. Chains here generate vertically in a pillar between the bridge and the ceiling. The lowest block of the pillar, connecting the chain to the bridge, is always an oak fence.

chain

Crafting
Crafting

Usage
Chains can be used to suspend bells, hanging signs, or both types of lanterns (normal lanterns and soul lanterns), as the chain texture connects to the chain of the lantern seamlessly as if it were part of it, and it connects the hanging sign chains together. Chains do not require a supporting block to be placed whether it is on the top, next to it or at the bottom. It can exist completely free-standing in mid air and it can be rotated. Chains connect horizontally or vertically, but not across different orientations (so a chain with N orientation does not connect to a chain with E orientation in the adjacent block).
Horizontal chains one block above a surface may be walked over. Horizontal chains two blocks above a surface prevent players from traveling past them. Vertical chains block travel if targeted directly, but may be skirted.

Precision is required, but chains can be walked on, allowing for inconspicuous, although somewhat costly, bridges.

Chains can be pushed by pistons without being broken.

Signs
Glow ink sacs can be used on signs or hanging signs to make their text brighter in low light levels. This also adds an outline around the text on the sign, the color of which is based on the color of the sign's text. The text does not emit any light, it is only more visible in darkness, similarly to the eyes of spiders and endermen. Normal ink sacs can be applied to revert glowing text back to default.

Bottles of entity are items that transform players into the respective mobs when drunk.

Splash bottle of entity are a variation of bottles of mob that can be thrown.

Bottle of void is a special bottle to transform back to the original player. Right clicking with it on a transformed player will remove the transformation and convert the bottle into a bottle of entity of that transformation.

A transformation into an entity will sometimes lead to special effects. For example, transforming into a chicken will allow the player to glide slowly to the ground. The chicken will however take fall damage upon landing, killing it and transforming the player back to themselves.
Transforming into an enderman will cause the player to be teleported randomly when a projectile it aimed at it or when they're being looked at by other players. Transforming into any mob capable of flight (for example, a bat) will allow the player to fly in survival mode as if they were in creative mode.
