4J Studios is a game development studio based in Dundee, Scotland. The staff include many former key personnel from defunct studio VIS Entertainment.
The studio is currently responsible for developing the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and upcoming Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita editions of Minecraft.[1]
