Spider Eye Farming[]

It doesn't work, they don't drop if you kill them with a mob grinder. Please confirm it someone 89.204.153.92 20:20, 18 October 2011 (UTC)

confirmed. they drop from mobs which directly killed, but not from mobs that died from environmental damage (such as the lava in a mob grinder). have been testing out a new grinder design for a couple days, and in thousands of drops not a single spider eye. (playing 1.9.4 btw). --67.194.201.211 05:39, 20 October 2011 (UTC)

Looting doesn't seem to increase the drop of Spider Eye[]

Tested on ~100 Spiders in a Spider Dungeon with a Diamond Sword with Looting III, Sharpness IV, Knockback II ! Missingno 26 10:24, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

Poison[]

When the poison wears off, you will have at least 1/2 heart left. From a different perspective, the most damage it can do is reduce your health to 1/2 heart. Either phrase can be considered correct, depending on how you read it; I've changed the wording to avoid that ambiguity. -- Orthotope 09:15, 24 February 2012 (UTC)

Spider Eye NOT food?[]

I just tried to eat a Spider Eye and could not, so I assume it is NOT Food. Shouldn't Spider Eyes be moved to Raw Materials? Lafflam 23:57, 12 January 2013 (UTC)

I'm almost certain spider eyes can be eaten. Was your food bar full when you tried it? -- Anoymous712 00:02, 13 January 2013 (UTC)
That must have been it. Sorry for being a dork, thanks :-) 71.214.141.251 03:07, 13 January 2013 (UTC)

Nourishment Value[]

This page says that the nourishment value of spider eyes is 1.6. However, the Food page says that the nourishment value is 0.2. Which of these is true? Nebisan (talk) 20:16, 24 February 2021 (UTC)
