How should I go about adding information about growth? I've noticed that whenever the flower grows, it emits a strange sound. Sounds like a low-pitched teleporting sound. I don't know how to confirm this or cite this, or even where to place this info in the page. Any help would be great! Curdflapper (talk) 03:08, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

It should probably go in the growth section. Also, please use "Add topic", or at least include a section header. The BlobsPaper 03:27, 4 January 2017 (UTC)
I've added it, thanks. I'm still new to editing the wiki, but you'll see I used the "add topic" button for my next question. Curdflapper (talk) 03:28, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Appearance on Maps[]

I've noticed that only the bottom of a chorus plant will appear on a map: any branches don't show up. Where should I put this information? How can I confirm it's not a bug? Curdflapper (talk) 03:27, 4 January 2017 (UTC)

Box-and-whisker diagram of the grown heights?[]

Hi! The current bardiagram is very useful, but could we also have it as a box-and-whisker diagram? It'd show even better where the bulk of heights are.

Growth max.?[]

Is the growth maximum (flowers/height) something that's set in the code? Or is it just what the one who did the experiment found? If so, maybe it should be stated that "in the 500,000 chorus flowers, none went above 22 in height" etc? 94.191.142.90 16:43, 1 February 2019 (UTC)

Verify snowball and fire charge on Bedrock[]

I've added snowballs and dispensed fire charges as projectiles that will drop the chorus flower on Java edition, but I don't know if those also work on Bedrock. RealWormbo (talk) 17:18, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

Sword breaks chorus flower faster than hand![]

So i set up a test like this:

  • First, i place the repeating command block, then i set up the command as: /setblock ~ ~2 ~ minecraft:chorus_flower, after that i set the repeating command block as "Always Active" so the command can run non-stop. Next i make sure to place a end stone underneath the chorus flower so the chorus flower don't break. Finally, i'm breaking the chorus flower continuous with different tools for 10 seconds.
  • Result:
    • Test 1: For, 10 seconds, i broke 10 chorus flowers by hand.
    • Test 2: For, 10 seconds, i broke 14 chorus flowers using wooden sword.
    • Test 3: For, 10 seconds, i broke 19 chorus flowers using wooden axe.

So by the test, i can conclude that: "Sword breaks chorus flower faster than hand!". But i don't know how fast is it? So i need to test more. Brain180 (talk) 12:38, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

Eggs.[]

I can confirm in Java 1.19.1 that eggs also break Chorus Flower. If someone could double check this for, say, 1.19.3 as well as relevant Bedrock editions, it should be a handy thing to know.

Because yes, I would consider this handy to know with the sheer amount of eggs my chicken pen produces.
