Bats and pressure plates[]
Regarding the recent undo by BDJP007301: Bats (like all entities) can trigger weighted pressure plates. I decided not the revert his revert however because I don't see how it can be used as a reliable player detector (the bat still triggers the pressure plate even if it's hanging upside down in the same block, so you need an extra block of space which makes it really unreliable because the bat needs to fly down to trigger the pressure plate). --Pepijn (talk) 12:18, 22 October 2017 (UTC)

If you spawn bats from a monster spawner in 22w43a, they will always hang upside down lol Bruhmoment987 (talk) 16:59, 29 October 2022 (UTC)
