[edit] Win 95

  • Theoretically Minecraft should not be able to run on Windows 95.
  • Java 5 (v1.5) is not supported on Win 95 systems.
  • Note that these requirements are for the server only you will need to allocate more resources to the OS!
Requirements Players CPU RAM HDD WAN Up WAN Down Notes
Minimum 2-4 Intel Pentium 2 300 MHz or AMD K5-Based CPUs
and better
256 MB 1 GB empty space 1 Mbit/s ~0.5 Mbit/s
Acceptable 4-8 Intel Pentium 3 700 MHz or AMD K6-Based CPUs
and better
512 MB 2 GB empty space 2 Mbit/s 1 Mbit/s

[edit] Win 98/ME

  • Note that these requirements are for the server only you will need to allocate more resources to the OS!
Requirements Players CPU RAM HDD WAN Up WAN Down Notes
