Bug[]

I found a bug where the ID's are not recognized correctly (for example, sb will print sb rather than displaying a gold block). Please fix this.75.165.42.19 02:26, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

IDs are case-sensitive. MajrTalk

That partially explains it, but I don't get why rd isn't working correctly.75.165.42.19 04:17, 18 April 2015 (UTC)
Where does it not work? MajrTalk

Looks to be working fine to me. All the text there are not valid IDs. MajrTalk

You are right. It was typos.75.165.42.19 15:08, 18 April 2015 (UTC)

Animation[]

I think that there should be animation. Note that for html character entities, we would need to restore {{;}} and have a bot fix all schematics. Majr, can you help with this? The BlobsPaper 01:38, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

You think there should be animation, or you have an actual use that needs animation? MajrTalk

In redstone circuits it may be useful to show the different possibilities in terms of which power sources are on. The BlobsPaper 00:48, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
I think it will be a quite difficult, messy, and resource-intensive feature. Also, I don’t think it is much of a priority. — Agent NickTheRed37 (talk) 16:13, 14 September 2015 (UTC)
What do you mean? The BlobsPaper 22:36, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

Links[]

I was thinking that the sprites could link to the corresponding page. This would allow readers to learn about a redstone component if they are not sure what it does.

The IDs would be stored in a module called Schematic/Links. If there is no ID, the sprite would not be linked.

Note: Links would also not appear if there are multiple icons on top of each other, as this risks having stacked links, which are not very useful. This does not need to be specially implemented; it would look at the entire parameter rather than each sprite, and none of the link IDs would be combinations.
